Seven years ago, Matthew took a bold step into entrepreneurship, opening his own BBQ restaurant inside Crooked Can Brewery in Winter Garden, Florida. Combining their culinary expertise with a love for southern-style BBQ, the restaurant quickly became known for its bold flavors and craft beer pairings. Running a successful business in a competitive industry has deepened Matthew’s understanding of the restaurant world, and continues to fuel their passion for high-quality, flavorful food.​​

 

Matthew's background includes ​​the prestigious Johnson & Wales University, Kroger’s Southeast Division, where they were instrumental in training over 176 stores on Home Meals Solutions. And Managing and teaching at three Viking Range Company cooking schools across Atlanta, St. Louis, and Jackson, Mississippi. ​​
